Callaway Transportation was selected to operate a city-wide shuttle system for AARP’s annual convention, servicing over 30,000 attendees across 42 hotels. AARP was the largest shuttle bus fleet to ever operate out of the new Washington, DC Convention Center.
Children’s Hospital

KPMG regularly asks Callaway Transportation to manage VIP transportation needs such as client trips to watch the Baltimore Orioles play at Camden Yards; annual “Wine in the Woods” event; as well as coordinating shuttle services for the Annual Holiday Party at the National Air & Space Museum.
Citi Group Board of Directors
Callaway Transportation was selected to manage the transportation needs of the Citi Group Board of Director’s conference. Service included VIP transportation to and from multiple regional airports to an undisclosed location. Callaway coordinated with airlines, security details, and corporate jet pilots to ensure that the precise moment the airline landed a vehicle was waiting on the tarmac for pickup.
Mount Vernon – Grand Opening of the D.W. Reynolds Building
Callaway Transportation was selected by the D.W. Reynolds Foundation to assist in the grand opening of the D.W. Reynolds Building on the Mt. Vernon estate. Service included private airport transfers, transfers to and from local hotels to Mt. Vernon, and shuttle services on the actual grounds of Mount Vernon for the black tie affair. Callaway Transportation has handled multiple events on the grounds of Mount Vernon, and used their prior experience to ensure flawless transportation services.
Papal Visit
Callaway Transportation was awarded the official shuttle service for the Papal Visit to Washington, DC. As such, they worked with multiple parties to design and manage roundtrip transportation services for over 22,000 attendees from RFK Stadium to the Nationals Stadium and back.
AAA / Ford
Callaway Transportation named as transportation provider for the Auto Skills Competition since 2005. The AAA and Ford Motor Company co-sponsored event has many unique transportation challenges including: shuttle transportation during the competition and final awards program. In addition, Callaway has managed their VIP, tours and special events to ensure efficient and timely transfers for students, family members, board members, staff and event volunteers.
